Verify our records
Every night we publish the previous day's record and fix its fingerprint in the Bitcoin blockchain through OpenTimestamps, a free public timestamping service. Anyone can check it without having to trust us.
What this proves
That a day's record (uptime, outages and the places we checked from) has not been changed since that day ended. If we changed even one character later, its SHA-256 fingerprint would no longer match the one fixed in Bitcoin.
What it does not prove
That our measurements were right. A timestamp cannot make a wrong measurement right; it only shows that we did not change the record afterwards.

Check it yourself
- Download the evidence file and its proof file for a day from the list above.
- Open opentimestamps.org and drag both files onto the page. It tells you which Bitcoin block holds the timestamp, and when that block was made.
- Or, with the OpenTimestamps client and a Bitcoin node of your own, run this with both files in one folder:
ots verify YYYY-MM-DD.json.ots - Each evidence file also names the SHA-256 of the day before it (previousSha256), so the days form a chain: changing one day breaks every later link.
